How many events do you manage each month?
We schedule one full-service wedding each month. This enables us to work exclusively with each bride to accommodate her needs. We understand that as the wedding date approaches, brides and their families become more anxious and appreciate knowing their planner can be easily reached and has the time to devote to their needs. Corporate events are scheduled as needed.
How much experience do you have as an event planner?
We have over 20 years of experience planning events, including weddings, corporate, nonprofit, charity and volunteer events.
What is the cost associated with your service?
Our fee is 15% of the total event budget for which we are responsible. This includes 4-hours on the day of the event. We are also available for 1-month-out and day-of coordination. Please call with these requests.
Do you receive referral fees or commissions from your wedding vendors?
We do not. We recommend vendors with whom we have worked in the past and we know offer exceptional service. We are the event planner for Wollam Gardens and if you book your wedding there, our fees are included and offered to you for no additional charge.
Will you be in attendance at the wedding ceremony? Reception?
Prior to the event, we will discuss what your needs will be for that day. This is included in the 15% fee for full-service clients. Please note, there may be a traveling fee for events with excessive traveling time. We are present for the duration of each corporate event if request by the client.
What is the backup plan in the event you are unable to attend?
We will ensure that someone knowledgeable with your event, representing Fleur de Lis Flair, is available on your day.
How will we stay in touch and communicate through the planning process? How often will we meet? Talk? How quickly do you get back to your clients?
Our policy is to return messages within 24-hours; however, we generally reply much faster. We understand that our clients may work day jobs and only be available to discuss their event in the evening or on the weekend. For this reason, we make ourselves available during these times. Once you have hired Fleur de Lis Flair, we will determine what time works best for you; how often you would like to meet, etc. You will have the cell phone number of your planner.

How will you and your staff be dressed for our wedding ceremony & reception?
Unless specified by the bride and groom, we will be dressed in black attire appropriate for the hour of the event.
